It’s been a long time since I haven’t written on my blog. But now, I have a very good reason to do so. The LFF or London Film Festival kicks off this Wednesday. And to me, particularly, this means something outrageous…yes, outrageous. Basically, I’m watching 18 films in 9 days. Does it get any better than that? Let’s not talk about sex…but, to me, this is a visual orgy. And not only that, it means, that by the time the Oscars come next year…I will have seen pretty much everything…Dani, sorry mate! This year, I win the race lol

This means that I will probably be writing an entry almost every day from Wednesday onwards and it might contain 1,2, 3 or even 4 films altogether at the same time. If you’ve ever loved something this much, you will understand me when I say that I will be experiencing pure joy and pleasure, even this Sunday, after I’d watched 4 films.

Hacía tiempo que no visitaba estos lares, pero ahora tengo una muy buena razón para hacerlo. El Festival de Cine de Londres que empieza este miércoles. Y para mí, sobre todo, va a ser, va a ser…atroz…sí, atroz. Básicamente, voy a ver 18 películas en 9 días. ¿Hay algo mejor que eso? Mejor no hablemos de sexo… porque, para mí, esto es una orgía visual. Y no sólo eso, esto significa, que de cara a los Oscar del año que viene… ya habré visto casi todo… Dani, tío, lo siento! Este año, la carrera la gano yo, jeje.

Esto significa que, probablemente, voy a estar escribiendo una entrada en este blog casi todos los días a partir del miércoles en adelante y que puede contener una, dos, tres o incluso 4 películas al mismo tiempo. Si alguna vez habéis querido algo tantísimo como yo el cine, entonces me vais a entender cuando digo lo que voy a experimentar a lo largo de 9 días va a ser pura alegría y el placer en estado puro, sobre todo el domingo, después de haber visto 4 películas (algo que no hago desde que fui jurado juvenil en el festival de San Sebastián aquel lejano año 2000).

La lista de películas os la dejo arriba (no sé ni los títulos en español, ni si los traducirán…). Pero sí deciros que muero por ver de nuevo a Isabelle Huppert en “Elle”, después de haberla visto en “El porvenir”. Qué pedazo de mujer a los 63 años que tiene.

Ahí os dejo digiriendo lo que me voy a merendar a partir del miércoles…
